SVMS Track & Field competed in Sectionals in Riverton, hosted by Tri-City. The 7th grade boys team received 1st place overall! Here is a list of Sectional 1st place finishes.

SVMS Choir and Band was able to show off their amazing talents Wednesday evening during our Spring Concert. Thank you to Mrs. B-Webb and Mr. Gorecki for being outstanding directors within our SVMS Team.

On Monday, May 1, 2023, SVHS Senior Sarah Finley was recognized by the Illinois Principals Association - Abe Lincoln Region.

Congratulations to 8th grader Lydia Pierson, who was honored by the Illinois Principals’ Association for her leadership skills and strong positive characteristics!

Carson Blok and Jacob Atteberry were recognized on Friday, April 21 by the Macon County Regional High School Association.

Once again, Sangamon Valley is offering students and families a great opportunity to get ahead of needing sports physicals for the 2023-24 sports seasons.

SVHS is proud to announce two winners at the regional Arts in Education Spring Art Show — Katelynn Moxley and Natalie Cole both won awards in the exhibit!

On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, Sangamon Valley High School will administer the Illinois Science Assessment to the Junior class.

SVMS students will be given the Illinois Assessment of Readiness the week of April 3-6. Please see the flyer for important details.
