High School semester exams are Thursday and Friday, Dec 15th and 16th.

Tuesday evening was filled with a lot of mixed emotions as we got to celebrate our first 8th grade night of the school year!

Election Day, Veterans Day, IESA Speech Competition, and our annual Share the Harvest food drive filled our week this week!

The students of Sangamon Valley honor our community's veterans with this special video presentation.

Weeks 11 and 12 almost got away from us! But, you will clearly see they were packed full of fun and hard work.

We would like to welcome our new librarian Mrs. Schall who is a parent and an alumni of our district. She has done so much to our library to make it welcoming and inviting for our students!

In October we had our first team building day! We are so excited to provide the students with fun-filled activities during our 1:30 dismissal days again.

Ms. Torbert’s science classroom had a great time doing an escape room based on all the science material they’ve learned this semester.

SVI Families knocked Tailgate Tuesday out of the park! Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to join us this evening!

A big shout out to our SVMS Choir and Band for having an amazing performance this Wednesday. We had a fabulous turnout from our family and friends and we greatly appreciate it!

I hope everyone enjoyed our Family Reading Night event! It was great to see our students and their families here interacting and having a fun time engaging with books.
