SVMS Track & Field competed in Sectionals in Riverton, hosted by Tri-City. The 7th grade boys team received 1st place overall! Here is a list of Sectional 1st place finishes.

SVMS Choir and Band was able to show off their amazing talents Wednesday evening during our Spring Concert. Thank you to Mrs. B-Webb and Mr. Gorecki for being outstanding directors within our SVMS Team.

Congratulations to 8th grader Lydia Pierson, who was honored by the Illinois Principals’ Association for her leadership skills and strong positive characteristics!

Once again, Sangamon Valley is offering students and families a great opportunity to get ahead of needing sports physicals for the 2023-24 sports seasons.

Our school year is almost over. Please make sure all of your child’s fees are paid in full.

SVMS students will be given the Illinois Assessment of Readiness the week of April 3-6. Please see the flyer for important details.

Enjoy our high school and middle school musicians in their 2023 Prism Concert, “Songs of the Sea!” The concert was canceled but students created a video to share the results of all their hard work this quarter.

Congratulations to our SVMS Boys Basketball team on winning their first round regional game! Round 2 is Tuesday at Mt. Pulaski. Go Storm!

It was an honor to have our artistic SVMS students represented at the Decatur Art Center.

It was so awesome to celebrate our 8th grade Cheerleaders and Boys Basketball players Thursday evening. We are so proud of all of them!
