Thursday, December 19th
Period 2: 8:10 - 9:20 (70 mins)
Period 3: 9:25 - 10:35 (70 mins)
Study Hall 4th hour/Check in: 10:40 -10:50
Lunch for all: 10:50-11:25 (35mins)
Period 4: 11:30 – 12:40 (70 mins)
Period 5: 12:45-1:50 ( 65mins)
Period 7: 1:55-3:05 (70 mins)
Friday, December 20th
Period 1: 8:10 - 9:20 (70 mins)
5th Period (Study Hall): 9:25 – 9:55 (30 mins)
Period 6: 10:00 – 11:10 (70 mins)
Final Exam Expectations
Students taking a semester exam must remain in the class for the entire period. Students are encouraged to bring other study materials or a book to read in case they finish an exam before the end of the period.
Cell phones, personal laptops, and other electronics are not permitted in the classroom during a semester exam. The teacher will collect all devices before the exams are distributed. Devices will be returned to the student at the end of the period or after all exams have been collected.
If a Chromebook is needed for an exam, the teacher will make students aware to bring their school-issued Chromebook.
Once a student arrives on finals day, they are to stay in the building until they have completed their last exam for that day.
Students who are exempt from taking a final will still attend the class during the exam, completing other activities quietly.
Students may not use their exemption in the same class both semesters. If students do not show for a final (even an exempted one), they fail the final and class!
Students who are in Tech/Transfer Academy classes can sign out in the library after 4th hour exams/their last exam on Thursday and after 1st Hour on Friday, just like they would on a normal school day.
Outside appointments should not be scheduled during final exams, unless a situation arises and there is prior approval from administration.
Students must communicate with Mrs. Meadows if they are waiving their exam BEFORE they get administrative approval for waiver use. Administration will approve once waiver use is submitted and exemptions are tracked by Mrs. Meadows.
December 12 is the last day to get approval for a waiver use in a class from the teacher and administration. No exceptions or late waivers will be allowed.
