Tractor Bid

Sangamon Valley CUSD #9 will be selling a yellow 1961 International 140 tractor, along with associated parts (carburetor, starter, front tires), that was previously used for district maintenance purposes. The tractor does not currently run. The district will accept sealed bids for the purchase of the tractor and parts. The tractor and parts can be viewed at the Sangamon Valley bus barn in Niantic, IL. The tractor and parts will be sold as is and all sales are final. A certified check, bank check, or cash will be required. If paying with a personal check, the tractor and parts will be held until the check clears the bank. The winning bidder must be able to remove the tractor from the premises. 

Sealed bids are due to the district office at 398 N. Illinois St., Niantic, IL 62551 by 10:00 a.m. on August 15. Bids will be publicly opened at that time. Bids must include the bidder’s first and last name, contact information, and exact amount of bid. Bids are required to a minimum of $1,000.

If you choose to mail your bid, please note on the outside that it is a sealed bid. Please note that mailed bids must arrive at the district office prior to 10:00 a.m. on August 15. Sealed bids may be mailed to:
